Boxing is What's Up Right Now

So, you may or may not have noticed, but with real boxing sucking recently, fake boxing has stepped up to fill the void. Specifically, I'm talking about Lights Out & The Fighter. I know I'm way behind on The Fighter, but I just saw it Sunday night and it kicked ass. I'm not gonna bother reviewing it- just gonna say that you're gonna want to see it if you haven't already. Not as many fight scenes as there could've been, but the ones it had had people in the theatre cheering. Also, checked it out on a date and she liked it too, so win/win. 

Here's the real PSA though: If you haven't started watching Lights Out yet you need to get on that. It's only 4 or so episodes in so you're not that far back. Plus its On Demand, so if you're like me and don't have tivo, you can just stay a week behind and fast forward all the commercials. Or you can watch it on FX Tuesday nights. FX doesn't have any shitty shows (besides The League) by the way, if you haven't noticed, but that's another blog for another day. Just watch this trailer though, and try to tell me this isn't gonna be your favorite show for the next month:
